Diet Day 59 (A Dukan Day) & Roast Beef

Another Dukan day for me today! It hasn’t been too bad, today’s food was definitely delicious and so filling, but I think this will be the last one for this week.

Breakfast: A cup of coffee, and large egg boiled midway between soft and hard (see Day 1 for my method, add an extra minute to cooking time). Calories – 90

Lunch: Smoked salmon (180g), 1/2 oat bran pancake, and a tablespoon of quark (see Day 2 for my tips about preparing this lunch). Calories – 436

Dinner: We had a lovely piece of beef so I roasted that so it was rare and served it with half an oat bran pancake. To roast the beef season with your favourite herbs and plenty of black pepper, and cook in a preheated oven (190°/Fan 170°/Gas 5) for 15 minutes per lb/450g plus 15 minutes for rare (add an extra 5 minutes per lb/450g each for medium/rare, medium, and well done). Remove the lid for the final 10 minutes of cooking. Rest for 10 minutes after taking out of the oven. Calories – 366


Calories – 892

Fat – 43g
